PANTHER

The ION Science Panther and Panther PRO Gas Leak Detectors are highly efficient and sensitive instruments designed for detecting a wide range of gases including helium, refrigerants, hydrogen and more. With a micro thermal conductivity sensor for high sensitivity and swift detection as well as resistance to electromagnetic environments, the Panther Gas Leak Detector series is suitable for use in laboratories, MRI scanners, vessel seal tests and more.

Equipped with an internal piezo pump, the Panther ensures an extremely stable sample flow with stability in draughty environments. The leak detector features IP44 protection and has a robust design that allows it to endure harsh environments.

The Panther Leak detectors provides zeroing in ambient air for accurate readings, and alerts users with visual, audible, and vibration alarms upon leak detection. Its vibrant colour LCD display and built-in Gas-Table allow precise measurement of concentration and leak rates in user-selectable units. The Panther and Panther PRO also includes an integrated torch and flexible probe for enhanced visibility in low light and restricted areas.

Compatible with the ION PC software, the Panther can be connected to the program via Bluetooth or USB cable where the user can view and export data as well as configure a range of settings for the instrument.

The Panther boasts a variety of useful features to ensure its efficient and effective operation:

  • Integrated piezo pump enables use in draughty conditions
  • Strong resistance against magnetic fields
  • Large keypad for single handed operation
  • Internal gas table for a wide range of gases
  • 10 days of continuous data logging
  • Up to 20 hours operation on a li-ion battery
  • IP44 rating
  • Clear visual and audible alarms
  • Selectable measurement units

The Panther Gas Leak Detector is available in two models; the Panther and the Panther PRO. The PRO version features Bluetooth connectivity and datalogging capabilities.

The warranty for the Panthers can be extended to two years when registered online.

The Panther Gas Leak Detector is available from Air-Met Scientific for sale, service and rental. Contact your local office for more information.
