"Big fan of Airmet here in Western Australia. The equipment they sell is top notch and with good inventory in country, time to deliver is excellent - the only rare exceptions being for the odd parts kit that has to come out of the US or somewhere else. Steve Carter (State Manager WA, SA & NT) is great - no query is too difficult, he'll fire you a quote in rapid order (it'll be a good quote too) and he's someone you can actually talk to at a technical level about the products he handles. Got a problem, need a solution? Give Steve a bell and he'll sort you out. Great asset, great bloke. Bianca Lawrence (Internal Sales WA) is my go-to source for consumables and never fails to deliver prompt service, quick quotes and solid advice. She also knows her products inside-out, which is invaluable The service team are also great - when I send gear off for repair or calibration it is turned around promptly and (more importantly) comes back in perfect working order.
Like I said I'm a big fan, a committed client and have been for many years - I hope the relationship continues on for the foreseeable and I have to thank the rest of Airmet Australia for their own particular roles in delivering excellent service - may it last forever.

I do not use any other company (unless you don't have what I am after), because of the support you provide.
You know your equipment inside out, can walk me through repairs over the phone, troubleshooting if things are not working properly, and teaching me how to use the equipment!

I would recommend Airmet to other councils
An integral part of our business is to enter confined spaces. To do this safely we require fully functioning gas detection equipment. The current gas detectors available were malfunctioning and I could not get any response from the company that I had originally purchased them from. The decision was made to replace the units we had. I made enquiries from a number of companies as to the type of gas detection equipment available and the cost.
The only company willing to come on site and do a demonstration was Airmet. Their territory manager (Jeff Pitman) was very accommodating by visiting us on site to conduct a demonstration of the equipment and sit down and discuss ways we, as a company could acquire the equipment though either, contract, lease or straight out purchase. A number of reasons were chosen as to why we chose Airmet. The contract and service agreement, the gas detection equipment is very user friendly, the docking station and computer program allow us to monitor the equipment weekly and a technician from Airmet will visit us on site to service the equipment (no more sending away equipment).
This experience has been beneficial in that we were able to come to decision on how to manage the costs that suited our business and more to the point we were able to deal on a face to face basis with our territory manager. I would recommend Airmet to other councils who are required to enter confined spaces and are looking for a way to manage their equipment.
