The Ion Science Cub 11.7 eV is a personal VOC Gas Monitor which offers workers personal protection against exposure to volatile organic compounds and other gases that require a higher energy output such as acetylene, methanol and formaldehyde.

Equipped with market leading sub-ppm sensitivity, the Cub 11.7 eV gas monitor gives an early warning of hazardous gases, including benzene before they reach harmful levels and has a dynamic range of 0.5 ppm to 5,000 ppm.

Worn within the breathing zone of the worker to detect VOCs and gases including acetylene, methanol and formaldehyde, the mall, lightweight and robust Cub 11.7 eV weighs only 111g making it unobtrusive to wear and does not impede movement or work.

How is The Cub 11.7 eV Different from Previous Cub Monitors

The previous models of the Cub required frequent lamp changes which affected the performance of the device. The CUB 11.7 eV has been refined to eliminate some of the sensitivities and previous issues.

The increase in energy output to 11.7 eV allows the Cub 11.7 eV the ability to detect even more gases than the previous 10.6 eV model, with the ability to now monitor gases including acetylene, methanol and formaldehyde. 

What Are the Applications of the Cub 11.7 eV Personal VOC Detector

A great feature of the CUB  is the locking functionality when a worker moves between areas in a facility, this means it will only record exposure in specific areas. This keeps the data clean and uninterrupted so that accurate data can be collected and understood before taking corrective action.
