Detector Tube 250S For Dimethyl Sulphide

Kitagawa Gas Detector Tube For The Detection Of Dimethyl Sulphide.

SKU
K250S

Dimethyl Sulphide is commonly used for odorant for LPG, food flavour for coffee, chocolate and cocoa synthetic intermediate and synthetic oils etc. Kitagawa's Detector Tube 250S can detect dimethyl sulphide and has a measuring range of 0.21-100ppm with readings going from pink > pale yellow.

Detector tubes and pumps are available from all Air-Met offices Australia wide.

For more information on the Detector Tube 250S For Dimethyl Sulphide, contact your local Air-Met office.

Interference & Coexistence

Mercaptans and Butane will produce similar stain and will give higher readings. Under the condition of asbolute humidity at more than 3mg/L, hydrogen sulphide (H2S) does not affect the reading otherwise the H2S will produce a similar stain and gives higher reading.

Propane does not affect the reading if the concentration is less than 0.8%.
