WS 316 SR Self-Rinsing Sampler Overview

The WaterSam WS 316 SR is an automated water sampling system with self-rinsing capability, making it ideal for heavily soiled sample media. The system automatically rinses the complete sampling line including the suction hose, metering glass and distributor hose, with clean water. Frequency and components rinsed can be configured to suit the application and sampling method employed.

Consistent with the base-model WS 316, the WS 316 SR is a well-rounded automatic water sampler with generous storage space, allowing for extensive sample collection. Various sampling modes can be used including time, volume and event proportional sampling, ensuring data collected is relevant to the application. Additionally, flow proportional sampling is available with VAR-B, VAR-E, VAR-C or the peristaltic pump options. The WS 316 can conveniently be fitted with two separate sampling systems if required.

• Stainless steel housing and roof make the WS 316 SR highly durable and suited to both indoor or outdoor settings.
• Adjustable and accurate temperature control for sample storage chamber, for ambient temperatures from -25°C to 42°C – optionally from 40°C to 55°C
• High performance vacuum sampling system
• Borosilicate glass metering vessel protected in sample storage chamber, minimizing sample corruption that could stem from extreme temperatures
• Hose inlet on the left and right side
• Composite container up to 60 L can be used to store samples, or with an XY distributor numerous bottle can be directly filled without cross-contamination
• Separate drain for rinse water in sample storage container
• Drain position accessed directly by XY distributor
• Warm rinsing available if required (e.g. for greasy media)
• Optional upgrade for automatic dosing of cleaning agent when rinsing
