The QED AP2 AutoPump Sampling Pump is an air-powered, positive displacement pump that is designed for use in wells with diameters as small as 2 inches. As a versatile and reliable pump, it can be used for a variety of applications including environmental remediation, groundwater monitoring, and water sampling.
Designed for handling difficult conditions safely and reliably, the AP2 AutoPump can handle hydrocarbon remediation, solvent cleanup, suspended solids, silts, corrosives and high viscosities, along with high temperatures and frequent starts and stops.
Easy to use and maintain, the air-powered pump is made of corrosion-resistant 316-grade stainless steel and features a reliable air control mechanism. It is suitable for use in hazardous environments and can operate under positive or negative (vacuum) pressure environments. The pump does not require clean dry air to function and can pump particles up to 1/8 inch in diameter. It is also able to pump products with a specific gravity as low as 0.72 and viscous liquids up to 7,000 cSt.
The QED AP2 AutoPump is available in two modifications: bottom inlet and top inlet. The bottom inlet model is ideal for wells with a screen at the bottom, while the top inlet model is ideal for wells with a screen at the top.
