The SKC AcoustiCHEK Calibrator is specifically designed for the easiest and most accurate calibration of SKC noise and sound instruments including the:
The AcoustiCHEK is specially designed for the ½-inch microphones present on SKC SoundCHEK instruments and provides automatic calibration for the SKC NoiseCHEK Dosimeter.
The calibrator is suitable for the lab or the field. Its lightweight construction ensures convenient portability and AA alkaline batteries allow the instrument to have up to a 70-hour battery life, easily lasting through a full workday. An auto-off feature is also included to help preserve the battery life when using the calibrator for extended durations. The AcoustiCHEK has a wide operating range allowing it to provide accuracy and reliability in a variety of climatic conditions.
The AcoustiCHEK is available in two models; Class 1 and Class 2. A notable difference is that the Class 1 model contains a built-in barometer whereas the Class 2 is compatible with ½-inch microphones. See specifications for further differences.
All models are IEC 60942:2017 compliant and come with a Certificate of Manufacturer Calibration.
