Scarlet Tech WindPro Overview

Scarlet Tech’s WindPro is an industrial grade wireless anemometer, used across many industries for wind monitoring. This long-range device has up to 1000m transmission range, allowing it to accurately monitor wind speed, direction, chill, temperature, and air pressure.

Manufactured with the ability to withstand harsh environments, the WindPro is frequently used on sites with high wind exposure such as:

• Offshore
• Cranes
• Wind energy
• Airports
• Turbines

Anemometers such as the Scarlet Tech WindPro are vital in the risk management and identification of wind induced hazards such as building damage and flying debris within these sites. Equipped with a real-time alarm system, the WindPro is capable of alerting users with built-in audiovisual alarms (sirens and LED lights) when wind speeds exceed 4 wind thresholds

The WindPro’s reliable monitoring allows the connection of 2 different sensors at once, increasing work efficiency. The anemometer can be easily integrated into existing systems due to multiple industrial outputs including:

• 4-20mA
• RS232
• Bluetooth
• Contact relays

The monitor is capable of continuous round the clock datalogging and features a 128MB internal memory for 3-month data storage. Data collected using the WindPro is exported to PC using ScarletWind software in Excel or CSV data exchange format, allowing safety personnel to easily conduct further analysis. The RS-232 serial port also allows users to view real-time data through a laptop or desktop as well as the anemometer console itself.

The Scarlet Tech WindPro is compatible with the optional WindPro Online Web Portal, allowing users to receive real-time notifications, unlimited cloud-base data storage and more.
