Scarlet Tech WL-410 Wireless Wind Speed Warning & Alarm Control System Overview
Scarlet Tech’s WL-410 Wireless Wind Speed Warning & Alarm Control System enables control of up to 4 external devices triggered by wind speed including sirens, LED flashlights or control machines.
With a transmission range of up to 400m, any number of receivers within this range can be connected wirelessly allowing for real time warnings across the site when dangerous windspeed thresholds are exceeded. Whilst the receiver has 4 contact relays for external devices, the WL-410 also contains an inbuilt audio and visual alarm allowing the instrument to operate without needing to connect to external alarms.
Both the sensor and the receiver are capable of long-term deployment in harsh conditions with a sensor battery life of up to 5 years and rugged design. This makes the instrument suitable for a range of industries which rely on cranes and towers including construction, offshore oil and agriculture. Sensor set up is made easy with the magnetic self-leveling sensor mounting bracket.
