Monotox TX Series Fixed Gas Detectors

Electrochemical sensor-based detectors for toxic gas and oxygen monitoring.

The Air-Met Scientific Monotox® TX and Monotox® DUO ranges offer a reliable, cost-effective method of monitoring the levels of oxygen or toxic gases in light-industrial applications.

Utilising tried-and-true electrochemical sensors from the world’s leading manufacturers, the Monotox® TX can be configured to monitor up to 2 gas hazards simultaneously. With dual analogue or Modbus outputs available, the TX range can be easily retrofitted to an existing gas detection system or form part of a new installation that is readily integrated into a life-safety or building management system.

The TX and DUO monitors are capable of autonomous operation, controlling a local area strobe / siren by way of 2 open-collector outputs and programmable alarm thresholds, greatly reducing installation costs and making it ideal for small installations. An optional modem can provide SMS or email alerts at a pre-determined threshold.

The Monotox® Series of fixed gas detectors are now available from all Air-Met Scientific offices. Contact us for more information.
