At Air-Met Scientific, environmental sustainability is about taking practical steps that make a real difference.

As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, Air-Met Scientific purchases renewable electricity through the Australian Government-backed GreenPower program. By choosing GreenPower, the electricity we use is matched with renewable energy generation, helping support Australia's transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.

What is GreenPower?

GreenPower is an Australian Government-backed renewable electricity accreditation program that enables businesses and households to purchase electricity generated from accredited renewable energy sources. Every unit of GreenPower purchased supports renewable energy generation in Australia, helping reduce emissions associated with electricity consumption while contributing to the growth of the country's renewable energy sector

Our Progress

Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we're focused on making steady, measurable progress.

Some of the key milestones we've achieved include:

• FY20: Began collecting and analysing carbon emissions data to better understand our environmental footprint.
• 2024: Partnered with Green Energy & Carbon Management (GECM) to strengthen our carbon accounting and develop a structured emissions reduction roadmap.
• FY25: Measured our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and voluntarily retired an equivalent volume of GreenPower renewable electricity and Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs), contributing to Australia's national emissions reduction effort.
• Today: We continue to invest in renewable energy, improve operational efficiency and identify practical opportunities to reduce emissions across our business.

Supporting 100% of Air-Met Scientific's reported electricity consumption for FY25

Contributing GreenPower and ACCUs equivalent to our Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions. Scope 2 emissions abatement is 232 Tonnes CO₂e for FY25.*
