5G EME Levels Found to be Well Below Safety Limits

With help from our partners at Narda, Telstra has been conducting extensive testing on their 5G network

After gathering EME readings from their 5G networks in real-world conditions, Telstra has found 5G EME levels to be very low and similar to those of 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi. In many cases, these readings were more than 1000 times lower than set safety limits.

This survey was conducted with the help of the Narda SRM-3006 Selective Radiation Meter and the upcoming RadMan 2 Personal Radiation Monitor.

Both of these instruments are recommended by Narda for the testing of 5G radiation and available for sale and rental from Air-Met Scientific.
