Ventis Pro5 – Now Equipped with a PID Sensor for VOC Detection

The Ventis Pro5 Multi-Gas Monitor by Industrial Scientific is now equipped with PID sensing capability. With the flexibility of detecting up to five gases simultaneously, advanced PID sensing technology and the convenience of a variety of connection options, the Ventis Pro5 is the most versatile multi-gas detector on the market.

Industrial Scientific will be introducing three new sensors for the Ventis Pro:

  • PID Sensor (0-2000ppm)
  • Two Ultra-Low-Power (ULP) Infrared Sensor
    • ULP CH4-IR (0-100% LEL) 
    • ULP HC-IR (0-100% LEL)

Yes, this sensor can be disassembled and cleaned In fact, it is easier to service than the MX6 sensor.

The monitor will run for up to 20 hours run time when using the slim extended battery and the following sensor combination: PID, ULP IR LEL, COSH, & LL O2.

10.6eV lamp – at this time. The 10.6eV lamp is currently the only option offered.

Targeted applications can include Emergency Response, Personal Monitoring, Waster Water Management, Leak Detection/Air Quality Monitoring, and Confined Space such as mines.
