Air-Met Scientific Novel Coronavirus Update

As the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, continues to reach more countries and becomes more widespread, the health and well-being of our employees, partners and customers are our first concern. As such, we are continuously taking precautionary measures where possible, based on the assessment of the current situation and in alignment with local and national authorities to minimise risks.

Consequently, in the best interest for all, Air-Met Scientific has decided to take immediate actions and we ask that you support us in the following:

  • Anyone that lives in a known affected area, has been travelling from such an area or has been in contact with someone with flu like symptoms shall refrain from visiting Air-Met Scientific offices. If there is an urgent and business critical need, please reach out to your key contact person within Air-Met Scientific to make appropriate alternate arrangements.
  • We encourage the use of virtual communication channels, e.g. phone, video-conference (Skype, Teams etc) to conduct meetings. Business critical face-to-face meetings should be validated with your main Air-Met Scientific contact. Please be advised that all visitors to any Air-Met Scientific office shall be required to undergo a temperature screening and if their temperature should result in a reading above 37 degrees Celsius, they will be asked to leave the office.
  • Implement advised 14-day isolation measures for employees in line with government guidelines and updates for those who have travelled to key outbreak areas, had contact with confirmed cases or direct exposure to potential source of the Coronavirus since the start of the outbreak.
  • Reminding and encouraging all employees and visitors to our offices to utilise preventative measures relating to good personal hygiene i.e. hand washing, avoiding contact with people who are unwell etc.

Air-Met Scientific will provide further updates should there be any changes.

More information of the Coronavirus can be found on the smartraveller.gov.au or health.gov.au websites

If you have any further questions or comments please contact your local Air-Met Scientific office. Thank you for your understanding, support and for working together with us in this important health issue.
