New Scarlet Tech WL-21 Wireless Anemometer Replaces the WL-11
A High Performance Wireless Wind Speed and Direction Anemometer
The WL-21 by Scarlet Tech is a wind speed and direction sensor and datalogger that measures wind speed, direction, temperature, and air pressure. IP67 certified it has been designed for industrial applications and long-term environmental monitoring. The new WL-21 comes with an ultra-long-range wireless wind speed and direction sensor (up to 500m) and a portable data logger display. With a user-friendly interface, the WL-21 features an LCD backlit display that can display clearly indicates live weather data in various units of measurement including live wind speed values in selectable measurement units (m/s, knots, mph, km/hr), wind chill, atmospheric pressure, Beaufort bar graphs and more.
The enhanced WL-21 also allows users can view hourly wind records and historical bar charts from the past 12 hours on different pages. The WL-21 support up to 1 year of long-term data logging and allows users to set a wind speed warning limits based on local operation safety standards.
The WL-21 replaces the WL-11
The new WL-21 has many great features and benefits of its predecessor the WL-11 such as easy installation, replaceable anemometer cups and live wind alarm warning, but it also has additional technical enhancements. Enhancements to the WL-21 include:
Improved wireless transmission range increasing from 250m for the WL-11 to 500m in the WL-21
Enhanced wind speed measurement accuracy: +/- 2%FS for the WL-21 from +/- 3%FS in the WL-11.
