NEW EF 0692 Broadband Meter Probe for the NBM-500 Meter Family

Designed to Detect Electric Fields from 600 MHz to 6 GHz

Designed to detect electric fields from 600 MHz to 6 GHz, Narda STS’s new broadband probe for the NBM-500 Broadband Meter family has been developed for measuring the field strength generated by mobile radio base stations and wireless LAN systems.

Developed for the mobile communications market, the EF 0692 probe is ideal for applications where the influence of broadcast signals needs to be supressed. The band limiting for the EG 0692 ensures that only E fields in the frequency range from 600 MHz to 6 GHz are measured without the need for a spectrum analyser. Due to its high dynamics and sensitivity of 0.2 V/m, the probe can detect even low field strengths accurately.

EF 6092 Broadband Probe Features:

  • Measurement of field exposure due to cellular and WLAN signals
  • Suppression of broadcast signals below 600 MHz
  • Isotropic (non-directional) measurement
  • 70 dB dynamic range without measurement range switching
  • High measurement sensitivity from 0.2 V/m
