Nanozen Industries are pioneers in the development of cutting edge aerosol and dust monitoring technology with their innovative approaches since 2007 when the company was founded by Dr. Winnie Chu. Headquartered in Vancouver BC, Canada, the team at Nanozen have made it their goal to revolutionise the way dust monitoring is conducted in industrial workplace environments and Air-Met Scientific is proud to support their pursuit as the exclusive distributor of the Nanozen product range in Australia.
Many industrial processes generate microscopic invisible dust in the air from grinding, sanding, drilling, crushing, polishing and pouring. These hazardous particles collect in the lungs and can lead to a wide range of short and long-term health complications including lung cancer, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
With a mission to build, test, and market leading edge technologies that drive new, emerging standards for workplace analysis, worker protection and timely corrective, the Nanozen product range includes the popular DustCount 9000; a small and light real-time wearable dust monitor capable of measuring silica, wood and other dusts. Nanozen’s DustCount 9000 enables hygienists to use its real-time mass concentration, particle concentration and size distribution data to determine whether a worker is being exposed to dangerous levels of particulate and is available from Air-Met Scientific for sale and rental.
As a partner of Nanozen Industries, Air-Met Scientific will also operate as an Authorised Nanozen Service Centre and will be offering service, repair, calibration and technical support for the Nanozen product range.
