A Bold New Chapter for the AirMetER™ Series

In 2019, Air-Met Scientific set out to build something different. The vision was clear: create a locally engineered and supported environmental monitoring station that combined precision particulate measurement with practical, real-world performance. No unnecessary complexity. No compromise on reliability. Just equipment that works.

Since then, the AirMetER Series has supported projects across Australia and globally, helping organisations manage dust, gas, noise, vibration and more to meet compliance requirements and improve environmental accountability. Working alongside customers such as Boral, The University of Newcastle, Engie, and Lane Xang Minerals, the platform has contributed to stronger outcomes and better-informed decision-making. Its continued adoption reflects the confidence customers place in reliable environmental data backed by local expertise and support.

Now, Air-Met Scientific is proud to announce the next chapter in the AirMetER Series’ journey.

While the core monitoring technology that customers rely on remains robust and proven, the updated AirMetER Series represents a considered step forward. With a refreshed visual identity reflecting the maturity of the series, the next chapter in the journey starts with the AirMetER-DX. Taking in extensive customer feedback, the AirMetER-DX brings in a refined enclosure design, improved hardware and an enhanced Livesense data management platform.

Proudly Australian Made certified, the AirMetER Series reflects the standard of quality we believe environmental monitoring equipment should meet. While its engineering roots are firmly local, the series has been designed with international deployment in mind; capable of supporting environmental monitoring programs across diverse climates, industries and regulatory environments.

A key part of that direction is the continued advancement of Livesense™, Air-Met Scientific’s online data portal. With significant enhancements to dashboard visibility, reporting and overall performance, the upgraded platform delivers a faster, more intuitive experience, giving customers clearer, real-time visibility of their monitoring data when it matters most.

A new centralised alarm dashboard brings active and historical events into one streamlined view. Users can configure alarm rules, visualise event activity and export alarm data to support structured audit and compliance documentation. Expanded reporting functionality also enables configurable and custom report templates, with export options in PDF and Word formats, helping simplify reporting processes and reduce administrative time.
