GASBADGEPRO
Built to Industrial Scientific’s highest quality and reliability standards, GasBadge® Pro provides a lifetime of gas hazard protection with more features than any other single gas monitor available. Interchangeable “smart” sensors enable the GasBadge® Pro to be quickly adapted to monitor unsafe levels of oxygen or any one of the following toxic gases: carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, phosphine, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide and hydrogen.

GasBadge® Pro communicates directly via optional accessories like the DS2 Docking Station™, iNet DS and Datalink to further simplify and automate calibration, function (bump) testing and data downloading. Standard STEL and TWA readings and datalogging of up to one year of survey data are featured along with an event-logger that records the past 15 alarm events.

Housed in a rugged enclosure, the monitor is immune to RF, water resistant and extremely durable. A protective concussion-proof overmould protects the unit from extreme abuse in a variety of harsh industrial environments. Its simple and intuitive four-button navigation allows easy access to setup, operation and calibration functions.

Lifetime warranty.

FeatureBenefit
iNet Ready Gives you Gas Detection as a Service on the world’s premier instrument management system. iNet provides factory monitoring and servicing of your gas detection fleet without the need to purchase a single piece of equipment.
Runtime Minimum 2,600 hours continuous operation from replaceable CR2 lithium battery.
Display Users can configure the display to either show direct real time readings in either ppm or % by volume (O2), or gas type only.
Display Size The direct gas reading display is the largest and most visible display for single gas instruments. Icons make the user interface simple and easy to understand anywhere in the world.
TWA and STEL A standard feature, the GasBadge® Pro can display current TWA and STEL values.
User-Adjustable TWA and STEL Alarms The TWA and STEL alarms are user-adjustable ensuring that when the customised set points are exceeded, the unit will go into alarm, alerting the user of the alarm condition.
Datalogging Standard one year minimum datalogging capacity (the most memory storage in the industry).
Adjustable Datalogging Interval Adjustable recording intervals allow the user to select the frequency at which the instrument logs information.
GasBadge®Datalink An available accessory option, the GasBadge Datalink enables users to instantly download alarm events, instrument details and hygiene data to a PC via a USB connection.
DS2 Docking Station™ Compatible An available accessory option for the GasBadge® Pro is the DS2 Docking Station™. Stand-alone Instrument Docking Stations (IDS) provide automatic instrument calibrations, record keeping, diagnostics and data downloading. Utilises one central database to store all information for archiving or printing at a later time. Link up to 100 IDS modules – dock thousands of instruments.
Display Backlight Allows the user to view current gas readings in low levels of light with a push of a button. Backlight will flash if an alarm condition occurs, serving as another indication that an unsafe condition exists.
Four-Button Operation Allows the user to easily configure the instrument. The GasBadge® Pro offers the most user-selectable options for any single gas instrument.
Sensor Options Interchangeable "smart" sensors monitor oxygen or any one of the following toxic sensors CO, H2S, O2, NO2, SO2, Cl2, ClO2, PH3, NH3, H2, CO/H2 Null and HCN.
Water Resistance The GasBadge® Pro is resistant to water which ensures protection from outdoor environmental conditions such as rain and water spray during wash downs and other harsh industrial applications.
Event-Logging The GasBadge® Pro will continuously log the last 15 alarm events. When the event-logger is full, it will automatically overwrite the oldest records.
IR Printer Interface An infrared interface allows the unit to easily print out the logged events to a POS printer containing an infrared port.
User-Adjustable Alarms The low and high alarm set points are completely adjustable by the end user. This allows customers to set the instrument alarms according to company standards.
Top Mounted Sensor Provides continuous and unobstructed protection even when placed in a shirt pocket.
Sensor Over-Range Protection Ensures sensor is protected if exposed to high concentrations of gas. The instrument will display "OR" to alert the user of an over-range condition.
Powerful Audible Alarm Complemented by Vibrating and Visual Alarms, Standard Standard loud (95 dB) audible alarm, ultra-bright visual alarm that can be seen from all directions, and a vibration alarm alert users if a hazardous condition exists.
Protective Concussion Resistant Housing The protective rubber overmould makes the unit extremely durable and provides a comfort grip for easy handling.
Peak Detection The instrument will continuously keep track and make viewable in the field, the highest gas reading the sensor has been exposed to since the last time the peak was cleared.
Last Calibration Indication The "days since last calibration" feature allows the end user to view how many days have passed since the instrument was last calibrated.
Life Indication The GasBadge® Pro continuously monitors and displays the amount of instrument life remaining until the unit is no longer operational.
EMI/RFI Immunity No false alarms can be caused by external RF interference from cell phones, hand held radios or other electronic devices.
Self-Check Automatic functional self-tests ensure that the instrument, sensor, and circuitry are operating properly. A secondary function test can be initiated by the user to ensure that the alarms are functioning properly.
End of Life Warning At seven days of battery life remaining, the empty outline of the battery icon will blink to warn the user that the unit is nearing the end of its life. At four hours of life remaining, the user is alerted by a short burst of alarms every 15 seconds accompanied by the empty blinking icon. Both warnings are designed to give an advanced indication that it is time to replace the battery.
Continuous Operation Feature The "Always On" feature allows end-users to set up the instrument such that it cannot be turned off in the field. This allows for continuous operation until the battery runs out.
Overdue for Calibration Indication This unique feature allows the user to set an alarm indication to alert the end user that the instrument is overdue for calibration.
