The SKC Cyclone is a respirable dust sampler used with a constant flow personal sampling pump.
A lightweight and conductive plastic unit, the SKC Plastic Cyclone holds a collection filter in a reusable cassette during dust sampling. When it is attached to a suitable sample pump, respirable particles collect on the filter and larger particles fall into the grit pot as the base, which can be discarded.
- Manufactured from conductive plastic - The SKC Cyclone dissipates electrical charges to the surrounding atmosphere and prevents static interference on the collection of the dust particles as it is made from plastic.
- Re-usable cassette prevents contamination - The filter is held within a re-usable plastic cassette prevents contamination of the sample.
- Can be attached close to the worker’s breathing zone - Attaches to the worker’s collar and as close as possible to the breathing zone
It features a snap-together cassette system and is used at 3-4 L/min flow rate with a 25 or 37 mm cyclone cassette. A grit pot is included in the packaging.
