What's New with the AMS-8061 Selective Area Monitor

The new and improved version of the AMB-8059 Wide band Area Monitor, the AMS-8061 Selective Area Monitor is now available from Air-Met Scientific with improvied and new features such as:

  • Extended Frequency Range
The AMS-8061 covers practically all frequencies relevant to electromagnetic radiation measurements with its 100 kHz to 6 GHz range.

  • ITU-T K.83 Compliance
The AMS-8061 allows selective measurement procedures corresponding exactly to Chapter 7 of ITU-T Recommendation K.83 “Monitoring of electromagnetic field levels”

  • 20 Freely Deinable Frequency Bands
The built in spectrum analyser selects the separate frequency components and collates them into frequency bands that you can define individually. This allows you to record the field exposure levels due to e.g. GSM, UMTS, LTE as well as DAB and DVB-T separately.

  • SD Card, USB, Ethernet
As well as the usual RS232 interface, you can also now save data to an SD Card and transfer it via USB and Ethernet.
