Narda AMB-8059 Area Radiation Meter Now Supports WiFi & 3G
The updated AMB-8059 now also supports 3G depending on the model version (see Table below).
This means that the Area Monitor is now capable of switching automatically between 2G and 3G. WiFi connectivity is also now provided in every model, making it easier for users to communicate wirelessly with the Area Monitor. This can be used as an alternative to mobile communications, as WiFi can be used wherever this service is provided.
In addition, three models are now equipped with an optical link (see Table), which guarantees a continuous direct connection. The optical link has the advantage of immunity to external influences that could impair the measurement results.
